| Learn about the Grassroots
Safety Leadership approach, adopted by employees across North
America, by registering for our Courses, using our Manuals, and networking
with each other by participating in our Users' Workshop.
Courses
Taught by Dr. Steven I. Simon, "the father of safety culture"
and the originator of the Grassroots Safety Leadership methodology,
"Grassroots Safety Leadership: Culture-Based Strategies to
Improve Safety Performance," was designed for change-agents
who champion employee-led safety efforts in their organizations.
The public seminar is offered six times a year, in the Spring, Fall
and Winter in San Diego and in the Summer in New Jersey. The next
scheduled course will be held March 16-18, 2010 in San Diego, CA.
The spring course is scheduled for May 4-6, 2010 in San Diego, CA
with the summer and fall courses to be determined in July, September
and November 2010 in San Diego, CA. This 3-Day Training Program
can also be customized to your organization and brought on-site.
Manuals
The Grassroots Safety Leadership Series guides you through implementing culture change in your organization one step at a time. The four manuals spell out the roles and responsibilities of the key players in the process -- Managers, Supervisors, Coaches and Employee Team-Members -- in achieving breakthrough safety performance by working from the grassroots.
Users' Workshop
Safety team-members from organizations all over North America convene perodically to exchange ideas and share their experiences in creating a safety culture revolution through employee empowerment. The Eighth Users' Workshop, co-hosted by Culture Change Consultants and the worker safety committee of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, was held April 27-30, 2003 at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas. The next workshop and location will be announced.
